Weekend w regionie: museums, castles, nature and forest camping in Poland
Free weekend and no plan? The app shows what is worth seeing nearby: museums, castles, national parks, nature reserves, forest nature trails, swimming areas and places where you can legally spend the night in the forest. Works offline, with no account and no ads.

Over 7,300 places from open public data
The data comes from Polish public registers, the Polish State Forests, the European Environment Agency and OpenStreetMap. It is built into the app, and the app downloads newer data on its own.

Frequently asked questions
How much does the app cost?
It’s free, with no ads and no account.
Is the app in English?
Yes. The app is in English on phones set to any language other than Polish, and you can switch the language in the “More” tab. Place names, addresses and descriptions from the Polish public registers stay in Polish, as in the official data.
Does it work offline?
Yes. All the data is inside the app, so the list and the place cards work even with no signal. The map uses Google Maps, so the map background needs an internet connection.
Where does my location go?
Nowhere. It is used only on your phone, to sort places by distance and to log visits. Details are in the privacy policy.
Where does the data come from?
From open public data: dane.gov.pl, the General Directorate for Environmental Protection, the Polish Geological Institute, the National Heritage Board of Poland, the Polish State Forests, the European Environment Agency and OpenStreetMap. The full list is in the app, in the “More” tab.
Is this an official government app?
No. Weekend w regionie is an independent app. It is not affiliated with any government office or public institution. Before you go, check the opening hours on the place’s website.
I found an error in the data. What should I do?
Write to kontakt@appstorm.eu. The data in the app is updated every week.
